Sometimes you just need to cut straight to the details about what your child needs or how much something will cost. The below information offers answers to questions asked most frequently by parents.
What time does school start and/or end?
Doors open at 8.50a.m., school starts at 9a.m. - school finishes at 3.20 p.m.
How much do school dinners cost?
Dinner Money - £8.50 per week (£1.70 per day).
How much does school milk cost?
Milk Money - £8 per term.
What colours are the school uniform?
Uniform – red/grey.
When should my child be bringing books home?
Reading books as often as you wish. Library Books are brought home weekly on different days for each class so please check with the relevant class teacher.
What kit does my child need for P.E.?
No jewellery for safety reasons. Kit - blue or black shorts or leggings and a white T-shirt, trainers for outdoor PE all in a PE bag.
What should I do if my child will be absent from school?
Absence – please inform the school on the first day of absence before 10a.m.
How many opportunities do parents have to meet with teachers each term?
Class parent meeting - in the first two weeks of school. Individual meetings in November and March.
What should I do if I need to take my child on holiday during term-time?
Holidays – in term-time must be requested directly from Mrs Brady.
