Year 2 visited Cooper Art Gallery and used sketch books to record their research. 10th December 2007
Working with Qdos Dance Theatre
During Autumn 2007 and Spring 2008 the Year 2 children worked with Qdos Dance Theatre Company to explore the outdoor environment through dance and drama. 20th November 2007
Back playground
The artist Lewis Morgan has helped us to improve our back playground by removing the 'snake' and creating new seating and planting areas. 16th July 2007
Pirates
The children have been making lots of pirate things in Nursery. We then used some of them to play Pirates! 10th July 2007

From the Front, From the Top, From the Sides
As a result of the ‘Shapes of Play’ project which happened in Nursery in 2005, the teachers and children wanted to develop an outdoor role play area in the playground at the back of the school. The Reception and Nursery worked with an architect called Phil Bixby and a visual artist called Abi May, from Heads Together Productions, our Creative Partners, to design this role play space. 6th September 2006

Our houses using fantastic felt
Class 7 have being doing lots of work about their house so we decided to recreate their favourite thing from home in felt the problem was they had to make the felt. 1st September 2006
Weaving - Four Seasons
In October 2006 the children in Class 1 worked with a textiles artist called Chris Mitchell. During this time they explored the art of weaving using many different materials. They also concentrated on using colours which reminded them of the seasons of the year. 1st September 2006
The Legend of King Arthur
The Legend of King Arthur is a literacy-based project including tales of knights and beautiful princesses, magic and mystery, which soon gripped the children’s imaginations and covered many other areas of the curriculum such as History, Art, and Design and Technology. 1st September 2006
